JetFoam ICAO-C 3% & 6%
The world's first fluorine-free foam concentrate certified to ICAO Level C.
JetFoam ICAO-C is a high-quality synthetic fluorine-free foam (FFF) concentrate from Angus Fire, part of Angus International Safety Group (AISG). It is designed to put out and secure flammable aviation fuel spills and fires (Jet A and Jet A-1), giving airport rescue crews fast knockdown without PFAS.
At a glance
A stable foam blanket, without fluorine
JetFoam ICAO-C is a patented combination of surfactants and other active ingredients, available only from Angus Fire. It produces a stable, vapour-sealing foam blanket that spreads quickly over the fuel surface for rapid control and extinguishment, and keeps fuel vapours suppressed after the fire is out.
The formulation contains no polymers or gelling agents. This keeps the concentrate's viscosity low, so it proportions accurately through conventional equipment and works with the induction systems on aviation rescue vehicles.
Where JetFoam ICAO-C is used
Airport rescue vehicles — Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicles (ARFFV), Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIV) and airport crash trucks, where fast extinguishment is essential for saving life.
Aviation fuel sites — high-risk locations where Jet A, Jet A-1 and aviation kerosene are processed, stored or transported.
Fuel spills — a vapour-suppressing foam blanket on unignited Jet A and Jet A-1 spills.
Approvals & certifications
| Standard | Result |
|---|---|
| ICAO Airport Services Manual (2013) | Level C – certified |
| GreenScreen® for Safer Chemicals | Certified Silver (3% and 6%) |
| EN ISO 9001 | Manufactured under a certified quality management system |
Equipment & compatibility
JetFoam ICAO-C 3% is used at 3% (3 parts concentrate to 97 parts water) and JetFoam ICAO-C 6% at 6% (6 parts concentrate to 94 parts water). Both are readily proportioned with conventional foam proportioning equipment. Angus Fire recommends aspirated foam wherever a stable foam blanket is essential.
